1. Run your own medical store

Once registered with the Karnataka State Pharmacy Council, you can apply for a Drug Licence (Form 20/21) in your own name. Owning a medical store typically earns ₹50,000 – ₹2,00,000 per month depending on location, footfall, and how the business is managed. Break-even on a moderately-located shop is usually 8-14 months. 2. Government pharmacist — KPSC / state recruitment

Government hospital pharmacist roles, recruited via Karnataka Public Service Commission (KPSC) and equivalent state agencies. Pay range: ₹25,000 – ₹55,000/month + DA + 7th Pay Commission benefits. Stable, pensionable, with structured career progression. These exams require a registered pharmacist qualification — exactly what D Pharma gives you.

3. Lateral entry to B Pharma

Many students use D Pharma as a stepping stone — work for a year or two to build savings, then enter B Pharma directly in the 2nd year through lateral entry. Faster + cheaper path to B Pharma than starting at year 1. Several B Pharma colleges in Karnataka, Telangana, and Maharashtra accept Noble's D Pharma graduates into lateral entry.

Admission process

Direct path to a Drug Licence

After completing D Pharma + the mandatory practical training, you register with the Karnataka State Pharmacy Council as a Registered Pharmacist. With that registration, you can apply for a Drug Licence (Form 20 for over-the-counter sales; Form 21 for prescription drugs) under your own name from the State Drugs Control Department.

Owning a medical store legally requires a registered pharmacist's name on the licence. That's the entire point of D Pharma — you become that person.
