Privacy Policy

This site is operated by Mohammed Zaheeruddin (zaheerx) from Gulbarga, Karnataka, India. This page explains what information is collected when you use the site and what’s done with it. If anything here is unclear, contact me at zaheerdv@gmail.com.

What is collected

Three things, only when you give them:

• Enquiries and contact messages. Your name, phone, email, message, and IP address when you submit a plot enquiry or contact form. Stored in Google Cloud Firestore (Mumbai region).
• Newsletter subscription. Your email address, the article you subscribed from, and a timestamp.
• Comments. Your Google account name, profile photo, email, and comment text, stored against the article slug.

What the site measures automatically

Google Analytics for Firebase records anonymous page views, the route you were on, your device type, and events like “tapped WhatsApp” or “submitted comment.” It does not record form content. No advertising cookies are set.

How your data is used

• Enquiries and contact messages are used to reply to you — by email, phone, or WhatsApp, depending on what you provided.
• Newsletter emails are sent only to the address you entered. Unsubscribe any time by replying to the email.
• Comments are reviewed before being published and appear publicly on the article.
• Nothing is sold to third parties. Nothing is used to profile you beyond improving the site.

Who can see it

Only the site owner (Mohammed Zaheeruddin) has admin access. Form data is stored with Google Cloud (Firebase) under my account, with access restricted by Firebase rules and service-account keys.

Your rights

Under India’s Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023, and equivalent laws elsewhere, you can ask me at any time to:

• See what information I hold about you.
• Correct it.
• Delete it (right to be forgotten).
• Unsubscribe from the newsletter.
• Ask me to stop contacting you.

Email zaheerdv@gmail.com from the address you used to sign up and I’ll respond within 30 days.

Retention

Enquiries are kept indefinitely so I can follow up on plot purchases later; you can ask me to delete yours at any time. Newsletter emails are retained until you unsubscribe. Contact-form messages are kept for at least a year.

Cookies

The site uses technical cookies for login (on the admin page only) and localStorage to remember your theme and font preferences. No advertising or tracking cookies are set.

Children

The site is not directed at children under 18 and does not knowingly collect their data.

Changes

If this policy changes, the effective date at the top will update. Material changes will be announced on the home page.
